The Cathedral of the Assumption
Completed in 1479 by the Italian architect Aristotle Fiorovante, this simple but imposing cathedral was for centuries the seat of the Russian Orthodox Church.

The Armory
Part of the Great Kremlin Palace, the Armory building houses Russia's oldest surviving museum, containing the collected treasures of the Tsars.

The Tsar Bell
The largest bell ever cast, this gigantic folly caused massive destruction but was never actually rung - an impressive monument to imperial hubris.
