December 18, 1999. Detailed section on Christmas and New Year / Millenium celebrations in St. Petersburg was published. Extensive listing of Christmas / New Year balls, dinners, concerts, church services can be found here. You can even order your tickets online.

January 17, 1999. New Hotels Guide of St. Petersburg was launched. You can now book hotel rooms in St. Petersburg online.

December 26, 1998. New Metro Map was added to the Getting Around section.

December 22, 1998. We were the first site on the Net to publish a list of Major cultural events in St. Petersburg, Russia for 1999. The events list was provided by the Institute for Cultural Programs (St. Petersburg).

August 4, 1998. We have revamped the Sightseeing section and plan to improve and expand it even further. Explore our new pages devoted to the Hermitage Museum and the Russian Museum. A new Monuments and Memorials chapter was added. Hotel and dining information was updated. Note significant changes in the site structure and update your Bookmarks/Favorites if necessary.

July 22, 1998. "St. Petersburg at Your Fingertips" now provides Web hosting services for the Lehl Hotel, which offers budget accommodation in St. Petersburg (and you can reserve your room on-line). Take a look!

May 4, 1998. We introduced a Message board to stir up discussion about St. Petersburg and travel. If you want to ask questions about St. Petersburg, Russia and travel to Russia or if you want to share your opinion with other readers this is a place for you to go. March 25, 1998. We finally got a detailed Site map/Site contents page, which will help you navigate through our large site. Sorry for a delay...

March 15, 1998. "St. Petersburg at Your Fingertips" started publishing "St. Petersburg Billboard" - monthly entertainment listings for major theaters and concert venues. The list of venues will be expanded in the near future. Information for this section is provided by the Institute for Cultural Programs, St. Petersburg

July 1997. "St. Petersburg at Your Fingertips" got its present design, provided by the Virtual Creators Studio http://www.virtual-creators.com

May 1997. We incorporated "Black & White St. Petersburg" - Ilya Narovlyansky's photo gallery. Ilya Narovlyansky is a well-respected St. Petersburg-based professional photographer, who is particularly famous for his photographs of Leningrad/St. Petersburg. Photographs from 1940s to the present were included in this photo gallery.

Late April 1997. "St. Petersburg at Your Fingertips" was launched. From day one it was meant to be a comprehensive city guide and travel information service.

February 1997. "The Virtual Tour of St. Petersburg" and the "Short Illustrated History of St. Petersburg" were launched.

December 1996. Preparations began for producing "The Virtual Tour of St. Petersburg" and the "Short Illustrated History of St. Petersburg"
